KT3170 Low-Power DTMF Receiver IC – Samsung – 18-Pin DIP
Rs.1,500.00
The KT3170 is a dedicated Dual-Tone Multi-Frequency (DTMF) receiver IC engineered by Samsung for telecommunication systems, tone-based control, and remote-access applications. Built on low-power CMOS and switched-capacitor filter technology, this device accurately separates and validates input tone pairs and delivers a 4-bit digital output code to any microcontroller interface.
With support for all 16 standard DTMF tone combinations, on-chip differential amplifiers, internal clock circuitry, and tri-state output lines, the KT3170 minimizes external component count and simplifies digital signalling design. It operates from a single 5-volt supply, consuming only around 15mW, making it ideal for embedded and battery-powered communication hardware.
The KT3170 accepts a low-cost 3.58 MHz crystal and provides built-in power-down / input-inhibit features for system-level energy control. This IC is widely used in telecom switching, remote activation systems, answering units, paging terminals, automation controllers, and PABX solutions.
Available in a standard 18-pin DIP package, it integrates easily into prototyping boards and legacy telecommunication hardware.
